MONASI FROM PERMANENT VACATION

Monasi from Permanent Vacation is a weanling colt out of Arora fra Keldudal and by the five-gaited First Class stallion Ofeigur fra Gamel Ladegard (a pinto which was selected to represent the USA in the Icelandic Horse World Championships). He appears to be five-gaited (as are both his parents); his favorite gaits are the tolt and the gallop. We don't know what color he is finally going to turn out to be, but "Nasi" has a diamond snip (Monasi means "earth-colored horse with a snip), a very faint star, and a stripe down his back. Before he got his winter coat, it looked as though he has very faint leg barring. So, we figure he is probably going to be a dark dun. Nasi has unusual dark blue-gray eyes and may be a pinto with minimal white.

Nasi is developing his mother's muscular build and calm nature, with his father's beautiful head and sweetness. He leads, stands tied, trailer loads easily, etc. Our veterinarian commented how well-behaved he is at such a young age. I started his half-brother last year, which is turning into a superb riding horse. Nasi's price is $2,500.

FLASH!!! Nasi is going to live with Florida! Thanks to Janice and Don McDonald for giving our little boy a loving home.
