Arora fra Keldudal, an
imported five-gaited 1994 mare from a top breeding farm in Iceland, is very
well-bred. She is a granddaughter of the famous Honor Prize stallion Ofeigur
882, and her silver dapple mother (Stjarna fra Keldudal) was a granddaughter
on both sides of the famous Honor Prize stallion Hrafn 802 (among other top
relatives). Arora's dad is the First Class stallion Kolskeggur fra Keldual,
whose mother is the First Class mare Venus fra Keldudal, whose mother and grandmother
are both Honor Prize mares. Arora is a lineback "claybank" red dun
with a flaxen mane and tail and one white sock. She has a darker face and leg
barring, and she is a muscular horse. She may carry her mother's silver dapple
gene (it doesn't really show on a red horse), as the inside of her tail is the
same silver as her mother's mane and tail.

Arora (her name means "dawn") is a trained riding horse with a calm
demeanor and a lot of self-confidence. She goes when asked and is not a deadhead,
but she doesn't panic. She has never run away or bucked, and no one has fallen
off of her. Arora has been through a mounted patrol officers desensitization
clinic and we were asked to lead the group through several exercises due to
her superior performance. We live in the Texas Hill Country, and she has been
trail ridden quite a bit.

Arora has excellent ground manners, trailer loads easily and is very manageable.
She has produced two excellent foals for us, and, by the way, she likes men!
We are asking $8,500 for Arora -- this mare would probably be considerably more
on either coast.
